Trademark Infringement and Counterfeiting

25th of October 2019 was a remarkable day for the legal system of North Cyprus. It was the first time that the Turkish Cypriot courts ordered an interim order to prevent the sale of counterfeited items. The court satisfied that the sale of counterfeited items can cause damage to international brands and trademarks, for this reason, it was an imminent and necessary measure to halt the sale of counterfeited items at reach of customers.
